Your Obligations as an Apprentice
Congratulations, you are part of California’s most-respected machinist apprenticeship program!
As a registered apprentice, to remain in “Good Standing” with the CTMAA and your employer, you are required to do the following at each six-month step of your apprenticeship:
Login and complete WorkHands (Phone Ap)
- Record daily hours worked by skill on TIMECARD
- Keep your PROFILE (blue pen) Updated, current
Scan, upload wage increases (pay stub) to DOCUMENTS - Upload NIMS CERTIFICATIONS received to DOCUMENTS
- Upload your semester TRANSCRIPTS to DOCUMENTS
Communicate College COURSES every time you Register:
Upload the COURSE NAME, NUMBER, INSTRUCTOR, SECTION NUMBER, day(s) of week and time(s) of day to DOCUMENTS
Record your COURSE ATTENDANCE to the ETP Roster Ap:
Apprentices and College Instructors are required to electronically SIGN for each COURSE they attend. Your Apprentice Coordinator will provide a Login and instructions – they MUST be completed no later than l O days after your Class ends.
Stay CURRENT with NIMS Projects, Practice Tests & Credentials:
Work with your CTMAA Apprentice Coordinator to develop your personal training schedule for NIMS projects and tests. Work with your College Class Instructor to schedule shop time for NIMS projects.
